The NEB VET Label project is launching its NEB VET Ambassadors Initiative, a new opportunity for professionals across Europe to connect, exchange experiences and help promote the values of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) within vocational education and training.
The initiative aims to create a European network of people who share a common vision for VET: learning environments and practices that are more sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically enriching. By bringing together professionals from different sectors and countries, the network will also help increase the visibility and long-term impact of the NEB VET Label project and its results.
The Ambassadors Network complements the wider work of the NEB VET Label project, which uses the New European Bauhaus principles as the basis for developing a common framework to assess VET centres and support their alignment with NEB values.
Who can become a NEB VET Ambassador?
The initiative is open to anyone interested in the New European Bauhaus approach and its application to education and training.
In particular, the network welcomes:
- VET teachers, trainers and other educational staff;
- representatives of VET and adult education providers;
- representatives of companies, NGOs, public authorities and sectoral organisations;
- researchers and experts in relevant fields;
- professionals interested in sustainability, inclusion, aesthetics and innovation in education.
Previous involvement in the NEB VET Label project is not required, meaning that the initiative is open both to those who already know the project and to new professionals wishing to discover its approach and contribute to its wider European community.
What does being an Ambassador involve?
NEB VET Ambassadors will act as supporters and multipliers of the project, helping its ideas, resources and tools reach new audiences.
Depending on their interests and availability, Ambassadors may share information about the project within their professional networks, promote project resources and tools, introduce other organisations to the NEB VET Label approach, exchange relevant experiences and good practices, and encourage networking around New European Bauhaus values in VET.
Importantly, participation is designed to be flexible and voluntary. There is no formal workload and no minimum number of activities or dissemination actions required. Each Ambassador can contribute according to their own interests, opportunities and availability.
