On May 8, 2025, an engaging and impactful Co-Design Event took place in Foligno, Italy, hosted by project partner EGInA. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including educators from Bosnia and Herzegovina, project partners, and representatives from vocational education and training (VET) centers in the Netherlands. The primary aim was to foster collaboration and co-creation by gathering feedback and ideas to guide the development of an innovative digital tool for the VET sector.

Using the NEB-VET World Café methodology, the Co-Design Event promoted dynamic interaction and inclusive discussion among educators, trainers, and partners. Participants shared experiences and provided feedback on how to integrate the principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) – sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics -into VET practices. The format encouraged the exchange of ideas, laying the groundwork for a user-friendly and meaningful digital platform.
A key takeaway from the event was the importance of involving end-users – educators and trainers – early in the design process. Their input ensures that the digital tool will not only meet technical standards but also be practical, intuitive, and aligned with the realities of teaching and learning environments. The event also emphasized the importance of community-building within the NEB VET network, inspiring participants to act as ambassadors who champion the NEB values in their institutions and regions.
Stay engaged with the NEB VET Label Project as we continue to design forward-thinking, inclusive, and sustainable tools that support VET providers.
