As part of the NEB VET Label Project’s ongoing activities, a dynamic Co-Design Event took place on May 8, 2025, in Foligno, Italy, hosted by project partner EGInA. The event ran alongside the project’s 2nd Transnational Project Meeting, bringing together partners and external stakeholders to shape the future of vocational education through collaboration and innovation.
The Co-Design Event focused on the development of the project’s Digital Tool—a central output of Work Package 3. Led by ODYSSEA, the session invited educators, trainers, and project partners to contribute directly to the definition of the tool’s design structure and user experience. This collaborative approach reflects the values of the New European Bauhaus, placing people at the centre of digital innovation in education.
Participants engaged in open discussions, feedback sessions, and brainstorming activities to evaluate the tool’s early concept and suggest improvements. The contributions from external educators were especially valuable, ensuring that the final tool will be grounded in the practical realities of VET implementation across diverse European contexts.
By involving end-users in the design phase, the project ensures that the digital tool will not only meet technical requirements but will also be intuitive, impactful, and responsive to the needs of educators working to embed the NEB principles in their teaching environments.
As the project moves forward, the insights gathered during the Co-Design Event will directly inform the next development stages of the tool, reinforcing the NEB VET Label’s mission to redefine excellence in vocational education.
